ceremony

date: september 28th 2024
venue: the asbury hotel, rooftop
time: 4:30 pm

Our wedding ceremony is taking place on the ‘Baronet’ Rooftop of the Asbury Hotel. Event staff will greet you upon arrival. You’ll be directed to take an elevator to the rooftop. Have a drink, find a seat, and take in the view.

reception

cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing will immediately follow the ceremony.

All events are located within the Asbury Hotel - easy peasy. Dancing will conclude at 10:30 PM. Should you want to continue the party, the Asbury Hotel has two public bars: Salvation (on the rooftop) and Soundbooth (on the ground floor).

Visit our Asbury Park Recommendations for additional places to spend the final hours of the evening.

Please note that this is an adults-only celebration.

transportation

valet parking will be available at the event entrance of the asbury hotel on the day of our wedding (sept. 28th).

If you plan to come into town early, there is plenty of parking around the hotel and Asbury Park, but keep in mind that most public parking is metered and in a busy area of town. Leave yourself enough time to park ahead of the ceremony.

Ubers and Lyfts are available throughout town if that’s more your style.

wayfinding

our wedding will take place within the events space of the hotel.

There will be signs on-site to guide you through the property and help you get where you are going. If you’re still lost, hotel staff will be available to direct you to the correct space.

Those are all phrases that the internet suggested we tell you as a step-down from black tie. This is the excuse you’ve been waiting for to buy the outfit languishing in the shopping cart browser tab you’ve had open for the past three months. We’re feeling formal, but still fun, we’re in Asbury Park, after all.

Think colorful tone-on-tone and monochromatic, solid satins, or bold pant suits. Guys, you can’t go wrong with a classic black suit and white shirt, but color is encouraged. Speaking of color, our ‘color-story’ is goldenrod, olive green, sandy neutrals, and a splash of hot red.

Does all of this sound like a foreign language to you? Lacking imagination? Would pictures help? Well, if so, you are in luck. We’ve made a Pinterest Board, with attire inspiration, just for you: TJ & Liz’s Wedding Attire Inspiration
